The May 17, 2023 meeting convened with a focus on Guana estuary, a major ecological system within the GTM Research Reserve. A total of 66 stakeholders, researchers, and subject matter experts gathered to share research and monitoring efforts and discuss and provide feedback on specific projects at the reserve. The attendees heard about and contributed to conversations on water quality Best Management Practices (BMPs), a monitoring and numerical modeling study, and a project that uses open data science principles to create a web-based interactive data dashboard.
